Please Note: The Hilbert Museum is currently located at a temporary facility while our permanent museum undergoes construction on a spectacular expansion! We will be located at the Hilbert Temporary through December 9, 2023.
In early 2024, the Hilbert Museum will reopen in its stunning new exhibit and educational complex constructed on the site of the original museum building which opened in 2016.

Tickets/Reservations
The Hilbert Museum recommends FREE online reservations for entry. Guests who arrive without a reservation will be assisted by our staff and admitted as space permits.
Reservations are FREE and can be made for up to 10 people.
Read more
- A reservation is valid all day from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and allows guests to leave and re-enter the museum on the same day. Simply print it out or show it on your phone.
- Reservations cannot be made over the phone and must be made through the online booking page .
- CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY students, faculty and staff do not need reservations — simply show your valid Chapman I.D. at the museum door or front desk.
- GROUPS OF MORE THAN 10: Please reserve by CALLING the museum at 714-516-5880. Docent tours are available for groups of up to 20 guests when arranged with the museum in advance.


Guided Tours
Free guided tours led by museum founder Mark Hilbert, when available, or one of our volunteer docents are offered each Thursday at 11am. If you have a Thursday museum reservation, you are welcome to join the tour.
Due to popular demand, groups of more than 10 should call ahead to the museum (714-516-5880) to see if space is available.
Parking
Street parking is available in front of and near the Hilbert Temporary in Old Towne Orange. Additional parking may be found in the city lot behind the building. Parking spaces for vehicles with a valid disability placard are located both on the street and behind the building.
