Jean Stern returned to the Hilbert Museum to present a fully illustrated 45-minute lecture explaining the different art styles active in California between 1910 and 1960. He discussed the development of Modern Art in California while showing several examples of the various artists’ work. Among the artists featured were Rex Brandt, Keith Crown, Phil Dike, George James, Jack Laycox, Milford Zornes and others.
